Building a custom home is more than selecting materials and designs; it’s about partnering with a builder who understands your vision and has the expertise to bring it to life. This philosophy is central to Agape Builders, a Minnesota-based custom home building and remodeling company led by Michael D. Sundet.
Building More Than a Home
Agape Builders approaches each project as a collaboration between the homeowner, builder, architects, designers, craftsmen, landscape architects, and skilled trades. The company emphasizes integrity, communication, craftsmanship, and attentive project management throughout the custom-building process.
Rather than viewing custom construction as merely assembling materials, Agape Builders focuses on transforming those materials into a distinctive home shaped around the client’s individual vision, lifestyle, and property.
Meet Michael D. Sundet
Michael Sundet brings a career of construction experience to Agape Builders. His background began with working on reclaimed barns throughout Wisconsin and expanded into civil and commercial construction. He later worked on high-end apartment buildings, condominiums, and senior living developments before focusing his attention on high-end architectural custom homes.
This experience helped shape a building philosophy centered on more than technical ability. Michael emphasizes character, accountability, cost awareness, trustworthiness, and engaged project management when guiding clients through the complexities of designing and building a custom home.
A Home Designed Around You
No two custom homes—or homeowners—are identical. Every family brings a different vision, budget, timeline, building site, and lifestyle to the process.
Agape Builders works alongside a network of architects, designers, craftsmen, landscape architects, and tradespeople to bring those individual ideas together. The goal is not simply to build an impressive house but to create a one-of-a-kind home that reflects the people who will live there.
For homeowners considering a custom home or major remodeling project, meeting the builder is an important first step.
